The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the dazzling white sands and crystal clear waters of Karon Beach. Facilities include a stylish all day dining restaurant with an international menu, as well as a huge free-form swimming pool.
Locally made fabrics are used for the bed runners and cushions, and the wall hangings have been hand crafted by local artisans.
Here, guests can relax in comfort with a novel or sunset cocktail surrounded by exotic orchids. The room
features contemporary Thai artwork and the overall design reflects property's Sino-Portuguese influences,
in the exceptional attention to detail.
The Sino-Portugese design influence is apparent in details such as the antique style brass light fittings
whose glass has a scalloped edge. All rooms have stunning sea views.
From here you can look through the lush tropical garden and rows of casurina pine trees, to the sea.
Airy and light, the rooms have thoughtful amenities like extra storage and a full sized fridge, which
ensure a comfortable stay. The room is elegantly decorated with stunning original artwork and the spacious
double balcony is furnished with table and chairs.
Intricately painted tiles, wooden latis work, solid teak furniture, and leafy palms cast the mind back to the bygone era in the black and white photographs hung on the walls. AH MA HOUSE Restaurant is open from 6:30 to 23:30 every day and our highly recommended breakfast buffet is served here.
There is also a swim up bar, so you need not even get out of the water! The Pool Bar is open from 10:00 to 19:00.
Room service is available from 06:30 to 22:30.
This unique experience involves shopping for ingredients in the local "wet" market in the morning and then returning to the hotel to cook up a storm under the close supervision of our chef. Then, you can get the verdict on your efforts from your family and friends, as you sit down to enjoy a feast of the fruits of your labour. Classes are available on request.
